Something Is Staring At Us

The new 2018 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 was recently spotted—and it’s better than ever. This sleek and sporty model looks like something straight off the track, with a massive rear wing, sloping contours, large intake, a quad exhaust, and more. You won’t be able to take your eyes off this stunning model.

According to Car and Driver, the new 2018 Corvette ZR1 design includes little details you won’t find elsewhere, including blue-painted opposed-piston brake calipers, a massive front-fascia intercooler air intake system, and an adjustable rear airfoil. An aluminum sub frame is bound to be light, especially thanks to space-age materials. A composite body also helps to cut some weight, and a two-seat interior is ideal for this new sports car.

“With the Viper’s demise imminent, the Corvette soon will be one of only two U.S.-built sports cars,” said editor Don Sherman in an earlier piece about the Corvette. “The new ZR1 will toast seven generations of classic American V-8 performance and value.”

Under the hood will likely be a tuned V8 engine with up to 750 horsepower—enough to thrill any driver. Although there is little news on official specs and other features, the new Corvette ZR1 is bound to set new standards in the industry. We can’t wait to see it in action.
